Arrive in Arusha where you will be greeted at Kilimanjaro Airport and escorted to Kahawa House. Most international flights arrive at night. If you choose to arrive in the morning or the day before we can make arrangements for you.

After an early breakfast and check-out, you’ll travel to the Tarangire National Park and start our first game drive. Tarangire is a renowned elephant park but there is much more to see than just elephants! Overnight at Nasikia’s Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge

After an early breakfast we look for photo opportunities in the golden hour. We will be in Tarangire National Park for a full day of game drives. Lunch will be at the lodge. Overnight at Nasikia’s Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge.

After breakfast and check-out, we travel to Karatu through the Great Rift Valley. On the way we will explore curio shops, boutiques and an art gallery. We will arrive at the lodge in time for an afternoon of activities which can include a nature walk, bike ride, visit to a local village, or just relaxing by the pool. Rise early morning for breakfast and your descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, perhaps the prettiest place in all of Tanzania. Often referred to as "Africa's Garden of Eden," the crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered by many to be the Eighth Wonder of the World. It's the largest un-flooded and unbroken caldera on Earth, formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago. Now, it's home to over 30,000 animals, including all members of The Big Five. You will enjoy a full day game drive along with a picnic lunch with the hippos at the Hippo Pool before beginning your ascent to overnight at The Plantation Lodge.

Rise early morning with a packed breakfast. We descend again into the Ngorongoro Crater. You will enjoy a full day game drive along with a picnic lunch. We overnight at The Lake Masek Tented Lodge.

After an early breakfast, set off for Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Renowned worldwide for its incredible scenery and magnificent wildlife, the park is home to the "Big Five" (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, and leopard), as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and the annual migration of two million wildebeest. The Southern Plains give rise to the large, granite rock formations of the Moru Kopjes. We spend the day around the Kopjes game driving. Overnight at the Serengeti Explorer by Elewana.

Early breakfast then game viewing in the Serengeti in the Mara region near the Kogatende. This is an excellent opportunity to see the wildebeest migration cross the Mara River. Overnight at Lemala Kuria Hills Lodge.

Fly back to Arusha where you will be transferred to JRO for your international flight. Or you can choose to stay on to enjoy one of our travel extensions, such as the relaxing beaches of Zanzibar, or Gorilla Trekking in Uganda.
