7-Day Off Peak Itinerary

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by one of our experienced driver guides, who will escort you to Arusha for an overnight stay at Planet Lodge.

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Transfer to Arusha City

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant population and diverse wildlife, including wildebeest, zebra, impala, and giraffes. You’ll also have the chance to spot lions and leopards amidst the park’s iconic baobab trees.

Overnight at Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After a morning game drive depart for Karatu. Stopping a scenic overlooks and curio shops along the way.

Overnight at Ngorongoro Farm house Lodge

Day 3: Tarangire – Karatu

Depart the lodge early with a picnic breakfast and lunch. Spend the full day in the Ngorongoro Crater before heading to the Serengeti.

Overnight at Enkirari Wilderness Camp

Day 4: Ngorongoro - Serengeti National Park

Spend full days exploring the Serengeti, where you’ll witness large predators like lions and cheetahs, alongside zebras, gazelles, and other herbivores. Your guide will take you to the best spots for wildlife viewing in this world-renowned ecosystem.

The last day depart the Serengeti and drive back to Kilimanjaro International Airport, stopping at the Cultural Center in Arush if time permits.

Days 5, 6, and 7:  Serengeti National Park

This low-season safari offers excellent value and exclusive wildlife experiences without the high-season crowds. Day 5: Ngorongoro - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will have a full day game drive in Moru area of the Serengeti.

Besides the big mammals, the Serengeti hosts colorful agama lizards and rock hyraxes that scurry over granite koppies. Many dung beetles live here, and about 500 bird species have been recorded—from ostriches and secretary birds in the grasslands to black eagles soaring above.
