Park Fees and Charges

Park Entry Fees (2026)

Serengeti National Park charges per 24-hour entry. These fees vary by season:

  • Peak Season (16 May – 14 March): USD 70 per adult per 24 hours (excluding VAT)

  • Low Season (15 March – 15 May): USD 60 per adult per 24 hours (excluding VAT)

  • Children (5–15 years): Approximately half the adult rate

Note: An 18% VAT applies to all park entry fees.

Camping Fees (for campers only)

  • Public Campsites: USD 30 per person per night (excluding VAT)

  • Special Campsites: USD 60 per person per night (excluding VAT)

Hotel/Lodge Concession Fees

These are charged per person per night to all guests staying within the park, regardless of where you stay:

  • Peak Season (July – September): USD 60 (excluding VAT)

  • Low Season (October – June): USD 50 (excluding VAT)
