Accommodation Costs

Serengeti offers options for every budget, but prices can vary widely depending on the season, location, and comfort level.

Luxury Lodges & Tented Camps

Expect USD 600 to USD 1,500 per person per night at top-tier lodges. Ultra-luxury properties may charge USD 2,000+ per night in peak season.

Example: Mwiba Lodge

Mid-Range Camps and Lodges

Comfortable and well-located, these options typically cost USD 300 to USD 600 per person per night.

Example: Sametu Camp

Budget Options

Basic camps and tented accommodations can range from USD 150 to USD 300 per night. Note that TANAPA camping fees (public or special campsites) are paid separately and are not included in most budget lodging quotes.

Seasonal Insight: Prices are higher during the dry and migration seasons (June–October, December–March), and more favorable from April to May, which is the green season.
